This is a very great technique if your are online and would like to snap a picture of a web page or picture and share with others. In order to take the screenshots you'll need to press the volume down button and the power switch at the same time. To start the process of transferring the photos you'll need to connect your USB cable to your computer. Once you connect the USB cord the pictures will transfer automatic. These pictures are yours to share anyway you like too. You can email them to friends, share on social media site, or save on your PC as a backup.

Similar to computers and laptops, there are instances that may warrant you to do a Kindle Fire reset. Either your tablet’s operation hangs/freezes or the screen might not turn-on at all.

If you have successfully managed to personalize or change your Fire tablet’s background, your next concern might be on how to resize Kindle Fire wallpaper.

 Unlike computers and laptops that are flexible enough to alter the settings of the existing background, the Kindle tablets show your images as-is.

There should be no problem if the Kindle Fire wallpaper shall only be used in a single orientation. But because a lot of Fire tablet owners use rotating wallpaper apps that showcase your Kindle Fire background on switching portrait and landscape orientations, the resulting image when the tablet is tilted or rotated may not be that desirable. On the other hand, too small images could look pixilated or blurred when uploaded on your Fire tablet’s high resolution or high definition screen.

So, when you resize, what would be the ideal image size for your wallpaper? Kindle Fire experts suggest that you should use a minimum resolution of about 1024 x 1024 pixels. This is just the right size to produce clear and crisp wallpapers for your tablet. The actual size of the wallpapers used by Kindle is 602 x 1024 pixels. For the older Kindle versions, it’s only 515 x 880 pixels.

You might eventually think that the 1024 x 1024 pixel size might seem too large and at the same time, only a square image. But the extra width of the picture has a very practical purpose. It allows the image to adapt when the Kindle Fire wallpaper is rotated or switched from the portrait to the landscape view. The larger pixel size ensures that the image is not pixilated, wrongly stretch, or there are no blank spaces on the sides for the landscape orientation. If you resize Kindle Fire wallpaper to higher resolutions, it would be better.

Unfortunately, the Fire tablet has no built-in programs that could hasten the resizing of your preferred Kindle wallpaper. And since changing your Kindle Fire background could only be done through side loading, you must process the image first on your other devices like computers or laptops.

On the internet, there are several free and paid software or applications you could use to resize your preferred wallpaper. An example of which is Adobe Photoshop. Resizing your image with Photoshop is pretty simple. You just open the image and proceed to the “image” link located on the menu and click on image size. You might also need to use the cropping tool to capture only the image area you like.

It is not only difficult but extremely strenuous and time consuming to do the autopsy and investigate into what is causing the main problem. Rather than all that hustle and bustle, one can simply have Wake Lock do the job.

What you need to do to stop Kindle Fire rebooting is download the Wake Lock app. It is available on several sites or you can do a quick online search or go to 1Mobile.com. You will get a prompt to download an APK file. Once you download this to your device, install it and run through the tutorial that is available at the outset. After you have installed the app, launch it and configure the settings. There are four options that you get to choose from. Select ‘Partial_Wake_Lock’. Other options work but this one would do the needful. Once you have selected this option, exit the app and voila, your device would not die out on you.

While this app would stop Kindle Fire from rebooting, do turn off your device once in a while to clear the virtual clutter.

Using this guide will help you set up Kindle Fire email. When you set up your email on the Kindle Fire it automatically syncs all your contacts and calendar appointments. The Kindle makes it very simple to add any email account.

Why Is My Kindle Fire Not Turning On?

Why is my Kindle Fire not turning on? I just had put my Kindle Fire aside a few minutes and when I picked it up again it became unresponsive. I knew it was not a battery issues since it was fully charge. I began to freak out! 

Even though my battery was fully charged my first instinct told me to connect it to the usb cord. Once it was connected to my AC power the charging light would not come on.

I press the power button a few times and my device was still unresponsive. I was already processing in my mind that I would need a replacement. Then I came across Amazon troubleshooting techniques.

Any any given moment if your Kindle Fire becomes unresponsive follow these guidelines: 

Make sure your Kindle Fire its fully chargeOnly use the charger adapter that came with your device Using a computer USB port is insufficient to fully charge your KindleIf your battery was drained out, it can take up four hours to fully chargeMake sure to check your wall socket is working properly

If your Kindle Fire has being fully charge and its still not responding reset your device.  

Hold the power button down for 20 seconds and then release. When the device turns off completely, press the power button to turn on your Kindle.  If this does not solve the issue contact Amazon technical support. (Since its a soft reset, your data will be safe) 

If your Kindle Fire screen is frozen the possible cause could be low battery charge. When you restart your Kindle Fire it will resolve any issues related to battery issues, frozen screen, and trouble downloading.

There is really little difference between the Kindle Fire HD tablet in this size and the Kindle Fire HD tablet in the 7 inch size. Having the extra display room does make a small difference when accessing some applications and especially when watching video.

The Kindle Fire HD a 8.9 inch tablet really sets itself apart from some of the other tablets by having a great sized screen. You don’t really notice a prolific difference in picture quality until you switch between the two. I definitely prefer the Kindle Fire HD 8.9 inch version.

 The new HD display delivers rich color and deep contrast. The display features include additional display support, ambient light sensor, scratch resistant glass, and touchscreen. The screen resolution is 1280 X 800 pixels.

Since the Kindle Fire HD 7 inch version has come out there was a major system update for the kindle fire HD 8.9 inch version. Because of the change in dimensions the system needed some modifications and you may need to do a system update when you start the tablet for the first time.

The system update is very easy to apply and will work to make sure that your display functions correctly especially when you switch between a landscape view and a portrait view on the tablet. In order to verify if you need a system update you can do so at device setting. In your Kindle Fire device settings you can also check your remaining storage, battery life, serial number, and reset your device to factory settings.

The first thing you must do before activating is to charge your Kindle.  You can use the USB to charge it by connecting it to your computer. When the battery is fully charge you will know it because the light indicator will go from orange to green. Make sure the USB cord is attached securely and the battery indicator shows it’s charging.  

When you first start to use your Kindle tablet you’ll need to connect it to your Wi-Fi or a Wi-Fi hotspot immediately, so that you can register for an Amazon account, to download new content.  In order for you to be able to shop for applications, books, music, and movies you must first register your Amazon account.  When you buy any content directly from your Kindle you have to register a method of payment.  There are several ways to place a payment method you can use a debit / credit card, prepaid card, or Amazon gift card.

The beginning steps of activating your Kindle Fire are as follow:

1.Get Connected: 

In order to connect to your Wi-Fi you must first swipe down the top of the screen and then click on wireless. 

Make sure that airplane mode is turn off. Select the network you would like to connect. If their is a lock icon you will need to enter the password in order to join that network. After you insert the password tap connect. 

2.     Select Your Time And Date:

To set your time and date swipe down from the top of your screen. Click on device. Then tap on date and time to set it up. 

3.     Register Your Kindle Fire:

In order, to use your Kindle you must first register it to your Amazon account. You must first swipe down from the top of your screen. Click on account. You'll need to know your email address and password associated with your Amazon account.

4.     Set up 1 Click Payment:

You'll need to register for 1 Click Payment if you plan on purchasing anything from the store. Directly from a computer visit amazon.com/manageyourkindle. and click on Kindle Payment Settings. Select Default 1 Click payment method, select edit, and follow the steps. 

The credit card you have stored will be used for all your Kindle purchases. You can change this credit card at any given time. 

5.     Start Browsing And Shopping

There is no need to worry when you first turn on your Kindle Fire, a guide with simple instructions will guide you through the set up process. If your ever need help with setting up or troubleshooting your Kindle use the user guide. To find the user guide all you have to do is follow these crumbs tap on settings, tap on help & guidelines, and then select user guide. If you ever need to watch the tutorial again you can start your tablet as normal and then tap your finger near the top of the screen to slide it down.
